Timeline
| Closing date | 24 - 30 weeks from date of accepted offer |
| 1st Decor appointment | As soon as possible after offer accepted |
| 2nd Decor appointment | Ideally before construction starts |
| Start construction | Typically 6-8 weeks from time of permit application (dependent on status of subdivision) |
| 1st walk through of house | When framing is complete and before any drywall is installed, approximately 4-6 weeks after start of construction |
| 2nd walk through of house | Drywall completed and interior finishings have commenced, approximately 4-6 weeks after 1st walk through |
| Make necessary arrangements for connections and establishing accounts with local utilities | Approximately 4 weeks before closing |
| Pre-delivery Inspection | Approximately within 1 week of closing |
| Finalize closing details with Lawyers | Approximately 1-2 weeks before closing |
| CLOSING DAY | Pick up keys at sales office or decor centre |
| Submission of 30 day deficiency list | Upon receipt of your deficiency list a Service Representative will arrange to meet you and review your list. All warrantable items will have work orders issued to the specific Contractor and be scheduled to be completed as soon as possible. Timing for these repairs is dependent on availability of labour and material as well as weather conditions. |
| Submission of year end deficiency list | The same procedures apply to the year end list as per the 30 day list. |
| Exterior finishings | Exterior work, particularly grading and sodding is extremely dependent on the weather. Upon the completion of roadworks i.e curbs and sidewalks and also keeping in mind multiple homes are completed on a street as a group, grading and sodding will commence. |
