• Peruse home decorating magazines or websites, visit model homes to familiarize yourself with the numerous options and trends available
• Take a few moments to read through the introductory package that we will mail to you

• Many purchasers come prepared with questions, sample pictures from model homes or magazines, pictures or samples of their existing furniture, or cushions from a sofa, dishes, towels or a drawer from a dresser so that you can make selections to complement your existing housewares.
• Please bring all manufacturers appliance specifications (ie: fridge, stove, dishwasher, hood vents, washer or dryer) so that we are able to review them to ensure any adjustments are made if required.
• Don't forget to bring your camera so that you can take photos to remember your selections or to show them to your family and friends!
• If you will are planning any upgrade selections, please ensure you have your method of payment handy.

We have divided our scheduled appointments into what we think are the least overwhelming for you, so that you do not feel pressured to make all these important decisions at once. At each of your appointments you will have the expertise of our design consultants to guide you through the selection process to suit your tastes and lifestyle.

Preliminary Construction Appointment & Sign off (approx. 1 hour)

This meeting will address the following selections:

• Exterior colour selection
• Structural modifications to your home (ie: floor plan changes, and redesigns)
• Basement changes
• Window changes/additions
• Staircase material
• You will also have browsing time in our decor centre to familiarize yourself with the options that are available and to ask for any estimates on upgrades that you are considering so that you can prepare for your next appointment.

Full Colour Appointment (approx 2-3 hours)

You can schedule as many as needed in order to make the following selections:

• Electrical and lighting plans
• All interior colour selections (ie: flooring, cabinetry for kitchen and bathrooms, countertops, plumbing fixtures, paint finishes, trim details, fireplace finishes, railing options, etc...)

Colour Sign off Appointment (approx 1 hour):

This appointment gives you the opportunity to review all your colour selections and make any final changes before signing off your colour sheet and upgrades.

Although we have developed this schedule for selections, we are flexible to combining appointments to suit your needs.

Once your colour selections have been completed and signed off, we offer the following methods to pay for your upgrades:

1. by cheque (post dated no later than 30 business days prior to closing
2. amend the purchase price of your home to include your upgrades in your mortgage
3. by credit card (??)
4. any combination of the above. Please consult with your design consultant to determine which option is best for you.
